This has been one crazy week! Here are a few things that have happened to us in the last couple days (I'll share the good part last, since it will make more sense that way):
The Bad: Got to the storage unit, that would be storing all of our belongings from AR while we are in Gilbert for the summer, after it closed so we couldn't unload the moving truck.
The Ugly: Not unloading the truck meant not being able to turn it back in on time. We would be charged for an extra day.
The Good: The man at the truck rental place (Budget) was very nice and didn't charge us after all!
The Bad: Blake got sick.
The Ugly: One trip to the doctor, after hours, costing a nice chunk of change. Then he threw up all over himself and me during Sacrament Meeting in Church.
The Good: Not one ounce of barf got anywhere on the Church bench or floor. (You know you are a mom when you would rather catch the barf in your hands then let it get everywhere making a harder mess to clean up).
The Bad: Our car was broken into.
The Ugly: Back window was shattered and a bag stolen.
The Good: One disappointed crook when he realized what he stole only contained some articles of clothing. (Warning all criminals: most everything we own is of little street value, but have importance to me and my family. So save both of us the hassle and leave my stuff alone).
I just keep telling myself, "In the Eternal Perspective of things life really is good!"

Oh goodness!! One the up side, I'm glad you guys made it safely to AZ! (Although I AM said that you won't be in AR when we come visit!) And I love the part about catching the barf - it's a Mom rite of passage, I think! :)

Lol, you are so cute Natalie. I love your spunky personality. I can't wait to see you this summer! Please, please tell me we will all hang out way more than we ever have in the last...well, since we graduated. I'm so excited you're here!!

Wow! Way to keep a positive attitude, I don't know if I could have one after all that. I'm glad you guys arrived here safely! We will definitely have to get together this summer!

Sounds like a crazy few days! I laughed too when our car got broken in to and the only thing they stole was a case of cds. I'm sure they were a little disappointed when they looked through them to see they were all church cds and gen. conf. talks!
Aw, poor Natalie. I am SO sorry that all of those terrible things happened :( You are such a trooper!!! One day, you'll look back and laugh at these things. Keep smiling that beautiful smile!
That is the hard part of life, eh? Keeping that eternal perspective when things get ugly. I heard about your car, and I am so sorry! And I am sorry about the Blake being sick part. Doesn't it seem like when it comes to challenges, "when it rains it pours?" That's what I have been thinking lately, anyway!
That was an awesome post. I am sorry things have had their bumps... but it seems like in the end you have a great out look amidst all the bad and ugly.
PS hope you can find some good from the AZ heat!
