Blake's Prayer

We are trying to teach Blake how to pray. Just recently we were able to get Blake to repeat after us some of the prayer. This is how this morning's prayer went:

me: Dear Heavenly Father
Blake: Heavy Fader
me: We are grateful for this day.
Blake: A day
me: We are grateful for Grammie( I was going to say, and the breakfast she made, but...)
Blake: and Grandad...and Tyler...(starts singing) I love Tyler he loves me...
me:(trying not to laugh) in the name of Jesus Christ
Blake: I love daddy he loves me
me: Amen
Blake: I love Tyler he loves me.

I thought this was funny and I wanted to write it down before I forgot. At least Blake knows there's a lot of love in our family. :)

What a sweet boy you have! I love listening to little kids prayers and the direction they take with them. Allie will say them by herself now, but then she rambles on and on and on about the most random things. They take a while, but are so cute!

Our 3 year old loves to pray. She says the funniest stuff. Sometimes when she can't think of anything she looks around and says she is thankful for things she sees.

I seriously chuckled when I read Blake's prayer. What a sweet little boy and what a good example you two are setting for him!

I do long exposures with my camera. You'd need to manually set your camera to do so if your camera allows you to. Then we just crack the glow stick to make it glow, and you draw it in the air. The camera picks up any light in that time so you don't see what you're drawing until you look at the camera after. WE did 30 sec exposures.

It's the same concept we did with writing with sparklers in my Beach post.
