We acted out the Christmas story.

Shepherd played by Tyler (however, he insisted that he wanted to be frankincense)
Baby Jesus played by Lacey
Wise Man played by Blake ( but he insisted that he was King Herod)
Joseph played by Matt
Mary played by me.
We didn't have any costumes so we had to be creative.
It is a Backus tradition to drink Egg nog, or Wassail and eat Vanilla Wafers on Christmas Eve. I don't know how to make Wassail so we just had Egg nog....umm Momma Backus could you please give me your wassail recipe. We are going to need something else besides egg nog next year.
However, unlike their mother, the boys loved Egg Nog or Christmas Milk as Blake calls it.

Your kids are adorable!! Looks like you guys had a great Christmas :) I noticed that your little boy has had some seizures? I'm so sorry! I have a friend in my ward that had the same problem with her son. She took him off gluten and he hasnt had one since! Just an idea. or maybe you've already heard of that! hope you guys are doing well!
