Ya, We've got Fashion!

Are you bored with the conventional pajama pant. Try using our new method of  pajama wearing and you will really catch people's attention. They won't know if you have 1,2,or 3 legs! (Warning: loss of circulation in hip and buttocks area may occur).

 Try out the walking pillow!
By wearing the pillow you now can take a comfortable nap no matter where you are! Just lay down and pull up your legs. Presto! Now you have a bed. (Only works if you are under 3ft).
Dressing up your 'do' with Black dress socks really makes a statement. You can keep your ears warm, while letting the rest of your head breath (Warning: does not protect against sun burn. See image below).

Now for the update:
Blake enjoying his sucker in the pantry.
Blake is sad to see the snow go, but loves going outside more. He likes joy school, climbing and riding his bike. I have been trying to teach the boys a little something about spring:
Me (pointing to a tree): "Do you guys see those round things on the tree? Those are called buds and they will soon turn into leaves."
Blake (confused): "The bugs are tuning into leaves?"
Me: No, not bugs, buDs. BuDs.
Blake: "Oh! Like, hey there little bud."

Tyler with his best pal Blue puppy
Tyler loves to be doing whatever Blake does. He is having a hard time with Blake being in Joy school, but he is a great little buddy for me. He loves to have us read books to him, but like his brother, outside is his true domain. Sticks and rocks are fascinating to him. Tyler is in love with Thomas the Train and has learned a lot. While driving in the car:
Me: "Hey Tyler look out your window! Do you see the train?"
Tyler: "No mom, those are coal cars." (he says this with a "duh" attitude)
I look again and see that he is right. They are coal cars. I'll try and be more specific next time.

Lacey Love Bug.
Lacey still isn't crawling, but she has just mastered sitting up not too long ago, so we are not too worried . Plus that is one less body getting into mischief. Lacey loves to sing or be sung too. Whenever someone sings in church she is completely mesmerized. She loves her teddy bear and loves to cuddle! Finally I have a cuddler. Lacey has fair skin and no matter how much I try and protect her from the sun she seems to have a permanent sunburn on her cheeks. But hey, how can you not love a rosy cheek baby.

Matt and I are doing the same wonderful things we always do, so here are some random, pointless, and useless things you probably never needed to know about us:
Matt has a strange fascination with the MOTAB choir directors and organist. He can name each one and he gets excited when they announce someone new. Until I married him I always tuned out when they were saying their names. Matt is the muffin man at our house. He makes muffins two or three times a week. They are really good. He has a freckle on his upper lip. For the almost 6 years we have been married when it is time for our night time "couple prayer" Matt does his MC Hammer impression and almost ALWAYS says, "Let's pray just to make it today." I usually follow this with an eye roll. It makes him laugh.

According to my kids I am great at making up, telling or re-telling stories. Sometimes this works against me. Thanks to me, my kids favorite phrase is, "Fe Fi Fo Fum, give me back my goose you bum!" That can make for some awkward explanation to the mother whose child has just been called a bum. So maybe I am not so good at story telling after all. I never eat the heal of the bread. It is just one of those things that you shouldn't do. Don't ask me why or what my reasoning is, you just don't do it. Matt always does. A while ago I watched the Audry Hepburn, Sabrina. I liked the Harrison Ford version better, but now I always try and crack and break open my eggs with one swift movement. I need lots of practice and we have probably ingested more egg shells than any human being should.

Something to check out: My amazing nephew Carter has been diagnosed with Leukemia. His mom does a wonderful job telling his story. http://jenniferwyethphotography.com/blog/. I love that kid so much and I am grateful for the amazing strength he and his parents have.

Typical afternoon at our house. (Warning: this is not that interesting, but I love it.)
