Matt and I have a new rule about our weekly date night. We can not repeat the same date for the month. Example: we watched a movie the first weekend so now we can't watch a movie again until the following month. (Oh, and it has to be free or really really cheap). We have to get creative, so this week we decided to have an art contest.
Rules for contest:
- We each called our family to ask them for five random unrelated objects.
- We then had to incorporate those five objects into our pictures.
- Drawings had to be drawn free hand.
We need your help for the last part. We want you to be the judge!! Whose picture do you think is the best?
Rules for judging:
- You may not know whose picture is whose
- You must choose one or the other (no ties)
- You must vote if you are reading this blog :)
- No mean criticism (We both know we are not Michael Angelo or Bob Ross)

HEY! LOVE that idea! SO creative! This is a hard decision...I like the creativity in both pictures. But I choose picture 2! :)
You two are super cute! I absolutely love that idea! Natalie I would love a list of these dates you do... Mark and I are always trying to find fun creative cheap dates and I feel like we have exhausted all the resources but tonight I have definitely been proven wrong! Oh and I vote for Picture #2! WOW! Picture #2 is very creative. It gets the Frost vote. I love your date idea, Brian and I will have to try it. We have gotten a little boring in our date nights, especially since Rebekah has been born. I love your blog, Natalie, it makes me want to create one.
If my vote counts, I choose #2. Very creative, but I have to give mad props to whoever did picture #1. That would be hard to fit white out in that picture. Good job guys! This really is a creative idea!

First of all, Matt could totally do Bob Ross for Halloween if he grew out his hair and fro-ed it out. :) And second of all, my plans were to vote for Natalie--- er, picture 2, but my compassionate mother side makes me want to vote forthe underdog, so, picture one gets my vote. But, boy, it's hard to say who drew which one. :) Love you guys!!

I asked Dallin which picture he liked and he pointed to #1. Ben gives his vote to #2. I don't know if I should vote because one of the rules is you can't know whose picture is whose. Since everyone else seemed to disregard that rule, I guess I'll vote anyway.=)Here's a vote for #1. I miss seeing cactus, so it made me happy. Both of them are beautiful!

Add another vote to #2! Very clever- incorporating a moving scene to be able to use all the random items. How fun, Chris and I are in a movie rut right now...maybe we should get out of it.
