Matt is the president of the J. Ruben Clark Law society. The group focuses on ethics and community service. This morning they were involved helping a group called Out of the Darkness. Their cause helps families of suicide victims and raises awareness about suicide. They had a mile walk in down town Little Rock. It was great to go with Matt and take the boys. There was a part on the walk where people who had someone close to them who committed suicide place a flower on a wall. It was really touching and my heart went out to them. I can't imagine how hard that would be to have someone you love take their life away. It was a good experience and I'm glad we went.

Sounds like it was a moving walk!
Nicole's comment made me laugh. Of course it was a moving walk, you were walking!!!
OH dear. It's too late.
It is really not so funny.
I'm glad you got to participate in that. I'm glad you didn't have to put a flower down.
Good job Backus. Congrats on being pres.
Ok, well I think I'll give you two extra gold stars in the mommy department. Carmen is two and a half and I am BIG TIME adjusting to life as the mother of two. I can't imagine them being any closer together. Keep up the good work!
Sorry, that comment was Veronica, not Aaron
That's cool that you guys could all go with him. And I'm also glad that you didn't have to put a flower down!
Are you and Matt going to be home for the Twilight movie or are you going to AZ? I didn't see your name in Kim's e-mail...
It sounds like you are adjusting to two boys! I loved your previous post, and today i am making it Natalie Backus day in my kitchen. The pumpkin pancakes are cooking right now, and we're having white chili for dinner...I'll let you know how they turn out!
