I was watching American Idol last week and they had the contestants share there most embarrassing moments. It made me think about all of my embarrassing moments and I wondered which one (and there are many) is my most embarrassing moment. I thought would I consider last week my most embarrassing moment when I made a family in our ward a chicken casserole for dinner and forgot to add the chicken? Or would it be the time that my friends and I had to be rescued by some life guards at the beach ( I hadn't even realized we were in trouble) and everyone there was staring at us? Maybe it was the time when I met Matt's sister Cami and her husband Ben for the very first time and I broke one of their goblets they got for their wedding and then soon after I broke their bathroom door handle (great first impression)!
But then it came to me... a memory I had repressed for a long time...so here it is my most embarrassing moment.
It was probably about the time when I was in second grade (I refuse to believe I was any older than that). My Uncle Steve came to town and him and my Grandpa took my brothers ,sisters and I as well as some cousins on a hike. All the adults made a big deal about going to the bathroom before we left. I of course being a good girl obeyed. However, when we arrived to the trail I had to go to the bathroom so bad! I looked around for a bathroom, but had no luck. All the kids were playing in a shallow creek, while I desperately tried to figure out what to do, for I knew I would not be able to hold "it" for the entire hike. I had never gone behind a tree before so that thought never occurred to me. It took me too long to think of what to do and I my body couldn't take it any more and I sadly wet my pants! Now what was I going to do? One of my older, very loving brothers came over to me and asked in a teasing voice with a very large grin, "Hey Natalie, what happened to your pants?" I being very brilliant said I had tripped and fell into the creek. (Ya right...who falls into a creek and only gets the middle of their pants wet?) I knew that everyone knew what I had done.
I was so embarrassed I stayed in the back of the line on the hike right behind my Grandpa and Uncle who kept blowing their nose farmer style.* To make it even worse there was a bathroom there the whole time and I just hadn't seen it!
So what's your most embarrassing moment?
*Blowing your nose farmer style: No tissue of any type is necessary. You turn your head to the side, press thumb against nostril to close it , and blow allowing whatever is in opposite nostril to fall freely onto the ground. (yuck)

Snow Fun
On Friday it snowed for the second time this winter. Since it rarely snows in AR, everything shuts down including Matt's school. Blake and I were very happy to have Matt home and we went outside to play in the snow.
Blake and I are posing next to the snowman Matt made. He was the right size for Blake.

I am so lucky to have two good lookin' guys in my life! Matt and I had a fun time, but you can tell by the look on Blake's face he was a little bored with it. He will probably have more fun when he can do the playing in the snow instead of just having to watch us do the playing.
He liked it better when we were inside looking out the window at the snow.

Is it spring yet?
The past couple of days the weather has been wonderful. Matt and I like to take Blake on walks to a near by park and lately we haven't needed jackets, we were very excited about this. The trees also started to bloom pretty flowers. In fact I was thinking about posting a blog on how much I love spring time. Well... I guess winter decided it wasn't over yet and this is what we woke up to this morning. At fist I was a little depressed and then I decided that snow can be pretty too.

Haircut
Okay Nicole, finally here are some pictures of my haircut.
The last time I got my haircut was about six months ago when my sister Nicole came to Arkansas to help me with my new baby. I've done the long hair since I can remember and I thought now would be a great time to try a shorter style since I spend most of the week with Blake inside our apartment :) (and I knew he would love me no matter what I looked like). Anyways, I am very happy with the style and I think I am done with the long hair style for good (maybe).
